MONETTE CATTLE

Our Cattle Operation in Swift Current covers the grassland prairies of Saskatchewan. We operate two feedlot operations here and utilize Monette Farms’ grain by-products for nutritious feed, filled with proteins and nutrients to supplement the healthy maturity of our cattle. We purchase calves in October at 550 lbs and raise them up to 750-800 lbs before selling them back to the market. We have high-nutrient prairie pastureland for grazing and haying, offering our cattle the best possible feed for their health and well-being. Black & red angus breeds are our primary focus at this operation.

Our Cattle operation in British Columbia is found in the scenic Cariboo and Thompson-Nicola regions, covering a vast area of mountain ranges, rivers and irrigation fields. We run both breeding & feedlot operations here. Irrigation crops are utilized for cattle feed, providing our cattle with rich nutrient feed. Black and red angus cattle are our primary focus of breed at this operation. Other operations include haying, baling, and swathing.
